Russian President Vladimir Putin leads his country's celebrations of Navy Day.
More than 40 ships and submarines took part in the event along with over 4,000 military personnel.
Mr Putin was away from the capital Moscow over the weekend as a violent police crackdown on pro-democracy protesters saw 1,400 people detained.
