LTD KH-202 Refresh - Clean and detail - Guitar Rescue - BORIS!

Описание: My brother-in-law has decided to move on from his LTD KH-202.

It is well loved however has been sitting in a gig bag for a couple years and needs to be freshened up.

these mid 2000's korean guitars have a pretty durable finish and clean up well with a little automotive cleaner and polish. other than that it will just need a really good cleaning.

When i tested it out it had a little bit of a scratchy sound in the volume pots but that actually resolved just by rotating them a bit.

frets arent in the best shape and will require a level crown and polish however i always polish them when they are this corroded prior to leveling them anyways as i feel the powdered corrosion tends to clog up the paper i use on my leveling beam.

So this video is limited to a restoration of the guitars finish. I actually leveled crowned and polished the frets off camera, followed by a full set up and this thing is a killer. no buzzes and tones of tone. if i could afford to keep it id buy it off my brother in law however i will need to sell it and take my "commision" as the bill collector waits for no-one.

I would not consider myself an expert at fret levveling and there are several other video series i would reccomend prior to makeing my own instructional video on the subject matter. I like the stewmac videos as well as twoodford and daves world of fun stuff youtube channels the best so far.

I will more than likely make a wee demo video in a bit just to go through the sounds.
