Описание: In the final part of our Diamondo Earthrounding flight around the world, Robin and Matt set out to cross the Atlantic in the ‪@DiamondAircraftInd‬ #da50. Flying Eastbound from Canada, the crew makes stops in Greenland and Iceland.

Visiting ‪@Climeworks_official‬ Orca Plant close to Reykjavik, Robin and Matt highlight how Direct Air Capture in combination with the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel #SAF closes the carbon cycle. Starting 08:21

After completing the crossing of the Atlantic by touching down in Wick, Scotland, the pilots visit ‪@CranfieldUni‬ followed by a layover in Amsterdam, where the DA50 is fuelled with physical SAF by our partner Jet Aviation.

In Northern Germany, the diamondo crew overflies the Heide Refinery‪@kommunikationraffineriehei5838‬ where e-fuel production along the "Methanol-Route" and powered by renewable electricity from close by offshore wind parks is being ramped up. Eventually, the refinery's SAF will be delivered to ‪@HAMAirport‬. Starting 11:20

Flying southbound, the crew visits ‪@Synhelion‬ facilities in Jülich, Germany to discover their development of Solar Fuels. Starting 12:42

In Frankfurt, Robin and Matt discover the many initiatives of Lufthansa Group and their CleanTech Hub, which make flying more sustainable ‪@Lufthansa‬ ‪@FlySWISS‬ ‪@LHCargoAG‬ Starting 15:46

The last leg of our flight around the world brings us back to Zurich, Switzerland. After 111 days enroute and after covering more than 58'000 km, Robin and Matt touch down in front of their partners, patrons, supporters, team, friends and family.
