“the future of making” Conference and Expo Recap

Описание: Two days of talks, workshops, and exhibitions on local circular and globally connected cities.

At the "future of making" we shared our visions on how to transform Hamburg into a locally productive and globally connected city, and discussed the design challenges for a desirable and sustainable future. We connected with other local and global change-makers and discussed how Fab City Hamburg, the INTERFACER project, and circular design can pave the way to a circular economy. The foundation has been laid for global connections, the digitisation of local production, and the development of a unique maker scene in Hamburg in times of global challenges, such as the environmental and social consequences of climate change. Together we launched the future of making. Many thanks to all speakers, makers, innovators, moderators, and the whole Fab City Hamburg community for creating such a vibrant environment following the mission to produce locally and connect globally.
