Alpine used the Le Mans 24 Hours race to unveil the machine it hopes will help it clinch top honors at next year's 2024 event. The performance-focused Renault sub-brand has competed in the LMP2 category for a decade but is looking to move up to the premier LMDh class to be able to say it has won the race outright. Taking victory in the top-flight class at Le Mans could prove invaluable as a marketing tool as Alpine looks to launch a new range of electric street cars around the world, including North America.
