Speculation over the possible entry of former IAS officer Sujata Kartikeyan into the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has triggered visible internal disagreement within the party. Senior BJD leader Pramila Mallik has clearly stated that Naveen Patnaik remains the sole leader of the party and that if Sujata Kartikeyan joins the BJD, she will have to work as an ordinary party worker.
