Originally I wanted to include this performance in my 6YearsWithEXO video since the lyrics were so fitting but it got cut in editing as it made the video too long. However I kept it in my archive, wanting post an edit of the song and I guess now was finally the right time.

Hand is a beautiful yet heartbreaking song. The performance is always so emotional to the point where Chanyeol sometimes breaks down during it. In these moments you can tell that the song really comes from his heart, how much he’s been through and how much his members mean to him. Chanyeol wrote the lyrics with such truth and depth, showing us Aeris a different side of himself on stage. He allowed himself to be vulnerable while laying bare about the struggles and traumas he’s faced over the past six years being an idol. I’m so glad that EXO have each other to lean on and when it was tough he found strength in his members and let them become his support system. His family❤️
