Описание: Satsumas are a type of mandarin orange native to China and Japan that were introduced into the Southeastern United States in the second half of the 19th Century. They are grown in a number of southeastern states. The farm featured in the video is located in Jackson County, Florida. The term “kid glove” or “zipper skin” is used to describe satsumas because they are easy to peel and internal segments separate easily. Because of their soft peels, care must be taken when harvesting. Pruners are used to prevent the peels from tearing when picked. The fruit are classified as “seedless” because they contain zero to few seeds. The fruit is juicy and very sweet and makes a great snack!
