Welcome back to Mandikhos Gaming! Today we are checking out Cold Pines, an atmospheric indie horror game developed by Nicklas Sommer.
The job seemed simple enough: cover a shift at the gas station for a guy named Jack during a historic blizzard. But as I started reading the notes left behind, things got creepy fast. There are stories of missing townsfolk, strange shadows in the woods, and a lost dog named Monty.
I was on edge the whole time waiting for something to pop out of the snow, but I was NOT ready for that jump scare in the store! And just when I thought I figured out the mystery... well, let's just say the ending took me completely by surprise.
