During the differential bearings replacement on the Mustang, I noticed the axle seals were not great. I decided to replace them along with the outer axle bearings.
The work is performed on a 2007 Mustang GT with a Ford 8.8 rear axle. The steps shown here apply to similar vehicles with a similar axle.
