In this video, I’m going to share with you over a dozen reasons why NAC is beneficial, how it’s used and where you can get it.

Boost cellular protection thru antioxidant mechanism
Glutathione is the most critical of all naturally occurring antioxidants. Glutathione is the master antioxidant because it replenishes the action of many other antioxidants.
By monitoring glutathione levels we can measure an individual’s risk of falling prey to environmental toxins. Glutathione detoxifies a large number of pollutants, carcinogens, heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, and radiation.
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) raises glutathione levels and has been used to detoxify organic mercury. Oral NAC profoundly accelerates urinary methylmercury excretion to levels as much as ten times more than usual.
Lowers stress
Improves brain health: memory & focus by regulating glutamate levels in the brain
Boosts dopamine receptors for cognitive energy, drive, feelings of pleasure, and focus
Respiratory health - mucolytic effects in the lungs.
Immune system boosting natural killer cells.
Supports T Regulatory cell function.
Balances TH-1 and TH-2 immune functions (TH-3 system).
Elevated glutathione levels enable the body to produce more white blood cells. Glutathione is a sort of ‘food’ for the immune system. Glutathione is at the heart of all immune functions.
Acute stress, poor diet, and illnesses can deplete L-Cysteine levels in the body and brain resulting in diminished GSH production.
Mold reduces the body’s ability to manufacture GSH.
Most people are deficient in magnesium, reducing their ability to synthesize GSH.
Sufficient selenium is needed to properly use GSH.
Need Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) to recycle GSH.
A mere 15% of spent Glutathione (GSSH: oxidized glutathione) in cells- will cause cell death.
Cellular oxidative stress = glutathione deficiency
You might be thinking to yourself, why not just use GSH, since Glutathione has long been thought to scavenge and mop up free radicals which damage cells.
BUT - glutathione is not particularly bioavailable. Therefore, supplements may not be well absorbed & direct pathways may not be as effective at mopping up oxidants. But an indirect pathway, via NrF2 and precursors, is better absorbed and utilized by the body.
