Stop hard shifting with BD Diesel 47RH Transmission Valve Body Upgrade on a Dodge Ram 3500

Описание: Hey everyone, the Dodge was in desperate need of transmission upgrade including adjusting the clutch band and tv cable. Our poor tiered Cummins powered 95 Dodge Ram 3500 has had a ruff life. No maintenance, just use, the dodge fought back. In the form of hard shifting between gears that mimicked an out of adjustment transmission tv cable. Of course, it was hard to diagnose, when the transmission also likes to kick out of overdrive. That's great when your doing 120 kms hr....so nice...waiting for the transmission to blow up one day dropping out of overdrive at that speed.

The one thing I was not able to do, was adjust the transmission pressure. If your tv cable is adjusted correctly, your pressures should be good. However, mine was not. So next episode I'll show you how to fix this. Oh yes, I should also mention, checking transmission pressures before doing this job, would have meant that I would have upped the pressures with the pan already off. Oh well, I like doing things the hard way.
