Описание: Halo 4 begins four years after the events of Halo 3, with Master Chief and his AI companion, Cortana, drifting in the wreckage of the UNSC ship Forward Unto Dawn. The duo is awakened from cryosleep when their ship is caught in a gravity well and crashes onto the mysterious Forerunner planet Requiem. There, they encounter a powerful new enemy known as the Prometheans, led by the ancient Forerunner warrior, the Didact.

As Master Chief battles his way through Requiem, he learns that the Didact plans to use a deadly weapon called the Composer to transform humans into Prometheans, creating an unstoppable army to protect the Forerunner legacy. Meanwhile, Cortana begins to show signs of rampancy, a state of AI deterioration that threatens her functionality and existence.

The story unfolds as Master Chief races against time to stop the Didact's plans while seeking a way to save Cortana. Along the way, he forms an uneasy alliance with the UNSC ship Infinity and its crew, which includes the Spartan-IV soldiers and their leader, Commander Lasky. As the climactic battle against the Didact approaches, Chief confronts the harrowing possibility of losing Cortana forever.
