I Cut The Front of My 64 Impala Frame Off. (BUT FIXED IT!)

The 1964 Impala, Belair, Biscayne and other 61-64 X-frame cars often have right front frame rails that are rusted, rotted or damaged in some way. My frame was no exception and in desperate need of restoration. These frame rails in front of the crossmember are also called frame horns, though I am not sure why. Anywho - I cut off the old frame horn and ever-so-gently replaced it with a really nice one from a drier climate. My 64 impala frame is now straight, and not quite as rotted as before. This video shows how I did the rust restoration. The whole project only took 2-3 hours. It actually was far easier than expected.
