Brilliantly talented, skilled hockey player -- a consummate professional and class act. Rick played a relatively straightforward game, but he didn't need to drop gloves to capture fans' attention. Much in the way Bourque captivated audiences, Rick brought to the ice a similar kind of magical skill and style that fans still recognize, appreciate and respect him for today.
Rick Middleton isn't in HHoF yet because -- ohhh that's right; there is not a valid enough excuse for that kind of blatant stupidity.
