This turned into a bit of an AU telling of how I view the entire Elena is a cheater scenario and how I wish it ended. The fact that she didn't even have the decency to wait until their bed cooled before bouncing into the sack with his brother will always bugged me. Yes, sire bond. Not her freewill or whatever excuses you want to argue. But I believe that to be nonsense. Elena did want it on some subconscious level. It was her desire, that's what (from my understanding) amplified her feelings. It makes me wonder though if the writers really expect me to believe she truly loved Stefan. This coming from someone that used to be a Stelena shipper. I just can't wrap my head around the notion that lust and caring for Damon somehow trumps epic can't-live-without-him love for Stefan in the whole supernatural intensification department.

How is that possible? In my mind she'd be sired to Stefan not Damon or am I misunderstanding something? Is it BECAUSE of his blood? Not that I care to analyze it any more, in all honesty, what's done is done and there is no going back.

My only wish as this show proceeds is that Stefan will be allowed to move on and find some genuine semblance of happiness.
