🚢 Voyage to Ross Sea in Deepest Antarctica (Part 3) 🐋

This is Part 3 of a series documenting a voyage to Deepest Antarctica. In Part 3 of this Ross Sea voyage series, we transit the Bellingshausen Sea to reach the very remote and infrequently visited Peter I Island. Leaving Peter I Island, we transit the Amundsen Sea to reach the fabled Ross Sea. Along the way, we witness many interesting sights including emperor penguins at sea, huge icebergs, and humpback whales.

The total distance sailed during this voyage to Deepest Antarctica was 6410 Nautical Miles or 12,000 km which is equivalent to about ⅓ of the equatorial circumference of Earth.
