Today we are finally starting our gameplay coverage on the new Fusion Strike decks. We will start of with the hyped Mew VMAX deck. Mew VMAX is a Fusion Strike deck that uses Genesect V with the Fusion Strike system to draw tons of cards. We are able to hit for 210 damage really consistently with Mew VMAX on the second turn by using the Techno Blast attack from Genesect V. Cards like Oricorio give us some more defense and cards like Latias can help to wall against VMAX decks.

With the help of Elesa's Sparkle, you can get Fusion Strike energies in to play easily and with Power Tablets, our Fusion Strike Pokemon dish out more damage. This is a very aggresive deck and I think Mew VMAX will be a tier 1 deck in the Fusion Strike meta! We get out all the cars we want using a Peony engine and drawing our hand back up with Genesect V.
