One pressing question in discussing conservatism and libertarianism is: how should one's faith influence their politics? Through a critique of both the left and right sides of the political spectrum, Dr. Eric Schansberg will explain his view on this topic. He will suggest that a libertarian government can be a Biblical means to proper ends.
Dr. Schansberg has authored several works on economics and government, including Poor Policy: How Government Harms the Poor and Turn Neither to the Right nor to the Left: A Thinking Christian's Guide to Politics and Public Policy. He has also written articles for the Independent Review and the Cato Institute. He currently teaches at Indiana University Southeast and he is an adjunct scholar at the Acton Institute.
