Описание: With my recent move, and finally settling in, I joined the newly formed Michigan City Conservative Action Group. The first problem we tackled with the rapidly rising property taxes that have already forced many seniors to sell their homes, where they have lived most of their lives. On October 10, this group organized a public session to which local elected representatives were invited. Senator Rodney Pol was impressed with the presentation and promised to introduce legislation into the 2026 session to address the matter we raised. The session was filmed by ABC57, from South Bend, Indiana, and appeared that evening on the news. It is very gratifying to help out with such an important issue.
