Hybrid Business Meeting In-person at Casco Bay High School and via Zoom

1. Opening of Meeting
1.1 2. Caucus
Pledge of Allegiance, Land Acknowledgment, and Mission
2.1 Purpose
The purpose of the caucus is to discuss the 2025-2026 Portland Board
of Public Education Chairperson and Vice Chairperson and come to
an agreement on nominations being brought forward at the first
official meeting of the 2025-2026 Portland Board of Public Education.
All votes taken tonight are considered straw votes and are not
binding. Official nominations and votes will be taken at the December
9, 2025 Portland Board of Public Education meeting which will be
held in a hybrid fashion with some members attending through Zoom
and others in person here at Casco Bay High School beginning at 6:00
pm.

2.3 Consideration and action to enter into a caucus session
2.4 Open the floor for nominations for the 2025-2026 Portland
Board of Public Education Chairperson
2.5 Consideration and action to cease nominations
2.6 Roll Call Non-Binding "Straw Vote" to appoint one of the
nominees as the 2025-2026 Portland Board of Public
Education Chairperson
2.7 Open the floor for nominations for the 2025-2026 Portland
Board of Public Education Vice Chairperson.
2.8 Consideration and action to cease nominations
2.9 Roll Call Non-Binding "Straw Vote" to appoint one of the
