Besides being an author, and highly sought-after speaker, Dean is also a two-time cancer survivor, widower and world record-setting extreme distance swimmer.

Being fortunate to heal from leukemia and lymphoma twice without chemo or radiation, Dean set out a new purpose in life to inspire people to embrace challenges and find the "sweet spot" of having a life of bliss and never-ending growth.
