A volcano in Ethiopia has erupted for the first time in nearly 12,000 years. The eruption of the Hayli Gubbi volcano sent thick plumes of smoke up to 14 kilometres into the sky, and across the Red Sea toward Yemen, Oman, and as far as northern India.
