The emergency task sends the heavily injured Rock to the Thousand Sunny for a night. Rewards follow—recovery items, a famed blade, vast wealth, and perfected Marine techniques. Yet that night, he enters the wrong cabin and the wrong bed.
The next day, Nami loses her mind and vows to kill Rock—until he uses money to win her over, leaving the crew stunned.
At the Summit War, Rock appears and shocks Marineford. Facing the captives Nami and Robin, he draws his blade before the entire battlefield: “Release them.” As tears fall, even the Pirate Empress looks on in awe.
