Exactly 284 zombies turned out to dance “Thriller” by Michael Jackson at Amazon Community Center in Eugene, OR.
Dancers kept one big secret until just the right song and that’s when they gathered around for a ‘spooktacular’ proposal.
Landon Michaels took the microphone to profess his love and to propose to his girlfriend Corie Hinton.
The dancers performed “Thriller” at 3 p.m. in a nationwide effort to break a new record.
The performance helped raise money for ShelterCare in Lane County.
In the last five years, the zombie dance has helped raise more than $21,000 to the ShelterCare.
