Malshej Ghat is about 120 kms away from Mumbai. Malshej Ghat region comes under Thane district.
This place is really not crowded even during weekends. Malshej is popular among trekkers and nature lovers, this stunning mountain pass in the Western Ghats is famous for its trekking trails, waterfalls, lakes and historic forts.
Monsoon is a good time to visit Malshej Ghat, as the weather will be cool & there will be plenty of waterfalls for you to see & enjoy.
You can find accommodation and a restaurant at the top.
Free parking is available as well.
*Note- Please visit this place before 7pm, as Govt. shuts down the road for tourists after 7pm [all days].
