Follow BCIT mechanical engineering students as they build a carbon fibre kayak paddle mold for their capstone project.
Capstone projects are year-end projects for both the degree and diploma programs in electrical and mechanical engineering. These projects allow students to be involved in interesting, real-world activities and projects are encouraged to have a connection or solve a practical problem beneficial to industry. A Project Expo in the middle of May is where students from the programs display their projects.
