Too often people coming out of substance abuse treatment programs do not have strong support systems in place to help maintain sobriety and clean living. Returning from rehab or deciding to get clean or sober can be stressful; you have to find a healthy support system of people who are positive influences in your life and who will support you and help you reach your goals.

Join my sister and me as we share our journey through addiction and recovery, from the perspective of the addict and of the family. We share the destruction and our reclamation, hoping to show how recovery IS possible. We hope to help those in recovery reclaim a purpose-focused life and to help loved ones heal individually and as a cohesive unit.

Jean is a certified addiction recovery specialist and a licensed clinical mental health counselor. She is also a person in long-term recovery, with 8 years clean from cocaine. Laura is a non-user who is trying to better understand addiction and recovery in attempt to be more patient, compassionate, and forgiving.
