Cycling culture becomes hot trend among Chinese people

The well-known scenic spot is a favorite among cyclists, which is growing in popularity in China as a form of socializing and fitness.

With plenty of bike routes both in and out of the cities, many people choose to load their bikes onto their cars for remote bike paths.

In terms of gear, demand for folding bikes and lightweight models is increasing.

One bike store owner said frequent cyclists come in to upgrade their bicycle's chains and brake systems for an improved riding experience.

Data from online sales platforms shows that since March, the transaction volume of cycling clothing has increased by 160 percent year-on-year, and the transaction volume of youth bicycles has increased by 260 percent year-on-year.
