Visiting the SHRIMP CAPITAL OF ECUADOR 🦐🦐🦐 Pedernales + Cojimies

Описание: Pedernales is famous for its shrimp and considered to have the best shrimp in Ecuador. The town itself is surrounded by shrimp farms and natural mangroves.

The heart of the 2016 earthquake, Pedernales was the hardest hit but is rebounding. We went on an Ecuadorian food tour in town and out in neighbouring Cojimies in the Manabi province.

This 7.8 earthquake destroyed 80% of the buildings in Pedernales Manabi. Many of the places we visited were rebuilt. I wanted to share this video as I think tourism can be a win-win situation by eating delicious food and supporting local businesses.
