*Update 3/15/2021*
CONFIRMED; graphics being reset IS NOT due to Microsoft/Asobo but rather the Nvidia GeForce Experience application as some of you had posted. My SINCEREST apologies to MS/Asobo for blaming them. So Nvidia, please stop changing our graphics settings! I am considering removing GeForce Experience which should take care of the problem; but I still use it so am hesitant.

*Update 2/19/2021*

Update: After the past MSFS update to version 1.13.16.0 (World Update 3), I'm happy to report that my graphics settings did not change! So, either there was a fix in the MSFS update that keeps the settings, OR, Nvidia fixed their GeForce Experience app to not automatically change the graphics settings for MSFS. Either way, it's looking good SimFans!

*Update 1/31/2021*

Update: I updated my GeForce Experience application to version 461.40 and afterwards checked my MSFS graphics settings and can confirm that upgrading the GeForce Experience application itself does NOT reset my settings in MSFS (they remained unchanged). To further test this, I will disable the Nvidia GeForce Experience application during this week's anticipated MSFS update and will post here my findings. Thanks again to all that have commented; more to come! :-)

Several of you have commented that the issue is due to the Nvidia Experience application. I had considered it being due to this application before posting this video and checked my graphics settings after an upgrade to the Nvidia application and it had not changed my settings but yet appeared to change after MSFS was updated. It's possible that when MSFS is upgraded the Nvidia Experience application changes the settings which would make sense given the Nvidia Experience app does change graphics settings for games. I will confirm after the next Nvidia Experience update as well as MSFS major update and verify. If determined it is the Nvidia Experience application I will extend my sincere apologies for blaming MS/Asobo for this. Thank you all for your comments and I appreciate you all keeping me honest! :-)

(Updated 3/15) This is my second "Tips & Tricks" video. In this video I mistakenly acuse MS/Asobo resets MSFS 2020 graphics settings after major updates (at least on my PC). I have confirmed that this is not due to MS/Asobo but rather the Nvidia GeForce Experience application. I also go over what I have set for my graphics settings and some tips on what to do to ensure you get your sim's graphics settings back to where they were before you upgrade MSFS 2020 as well as some other quick tips.

I debated removing this video but felt I would leave it up for people to be aware of that if they use the GeForce Experience app, this can happen to them.
