Описание: Chinese cinema about the Korean War gets limited distribution in the US. I'm trying to change that any small way I can. Chen Kaige is one of China's most celebrated directors. When Chen Kaige made nihilistic anti-patriotic cinema he was the toast of Western tastemakers. Now that he makes triumphant movies celebrating his homeland this same establishment blocks him from US distribution. The English subtitles are decent (not written by me). This was released in the Mainland on China's National Day holiday (October 1st, 2024).
