There's always a hidden struggle behind the best takes that I show here, but this improvisation was a pure moment. I wanted to loosen up a bit, get a little bit more comfortable - and just kept the camera running 🤷🏻♂️
I think what makes this piece special is the transition from Eb major to minor with the 3rd in the bass moving down chromatically. Pls do leave a comment if you think I should develop this idea.
Recording piano parts doesn't come naturally to me; after three years of lessons I would still consider myself a beginner. But as a composer, this makes it so much easier to share my work with you all, so I have committed to posting a little bit more of my piano playing in addition to the guitar! 😊
