Welcome to Team JSR's prototype video for Smart India Hackathon 2025.
Our problem statement PS 25108: "Development of AI-powered FRA Atlas and WebGIS-based Decision Support System (DSS) for Integrated Monitoring of Forest Rights Act (FRA) Implementation."

Project: AI-powered FRA Atlas & DSS for Tribal Empowerment

This project addresses the critical challenges in the implementation of the Forest Rights Act (FRA) across states like Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Tripura, and Telangana.
Our solution leverages AI, Remote Sensing, and WebGIS to build an integrated FRA monitoring system.

The system works in four key stages:

Data Digitization – AI-based text extraction & NER to digitize legacy FRA claims and pattas.

Asset Mapping – Using Computer Vision & ML on satellite imagery/UAV to identify farmland, forest cover, water bodies, and homesteads.

WebGIS Integration – An interactive FRA Atlas with layers like village boundaries, IFR/CR claims, and asset data.

Decision Support System (DSS) – AI-enhanced DSS that cross-links FRA data with Central Sector Schemes (CSS) like PM-KISAN, Jal Jeevan Mission, and MGNREGA for targeted development.

With automated digitization, spatial intelligence, and DSS recommendations, this solution helps government authorities, tribal welfare departments, and NGOs ensure transparent, data-driven, and efficient FRA implementation.
