After analyzing contenders including: the Seiko Alpinist, Hamilton Murph, Rolex Explorer, Rolex Explorer II, Hamilton Khaki, and Bremont Terra Nova, I narrowed it down to the final three: the Sinn 556, the Tudor Ranger, and the Rolex Explorer.
Field watches have always been about action and durability. But for me, this search was also about finding a watch tough enough to survive diaper changes, playground adventures, furniture assembly and making memories.
