This is not how most people experience an airshow.
The Milwaukee Air & Water Show 2025 was filmed over four days from places almost nobody gets access to — including two days aboard a 67-foot yacht anchored at show center on Lake Michigan, a full day on the hot ramp, and a final day filming beachside with the city skyline packed with spectators.
From the yacht, jets pass directly overhead with nothing in between. No grandstands. No barriers. Just speed, sound, vapor, and shockwaves hitting the water as aircraft tear across the Milwaukee skyline. Every pass feels faster and closer than anything you see from land.
The U.S. Navy Blue Angels led the show flying six F/A-18 Super Hornets, delivering precision formation flying that leaves zero room for error. Watching their passes from the water completely changes the experience.
The USAF F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team brought raw fifth-generation performance to Milwaukee. Thrust vectoring, high-alpha maneuvers, and unmatched control show exactly why the Raptor still dominates the skies.
One of the most unforgettable moments was the Heritage Flight — the modern F-22 flying alongside the iconic P-51 Mustang, linking generations of American airpower in a single formation.
A full day on the hot ramp added another layer, putting the size and complexity of military aviation into perspective. The C-17 Globemaster III demo showed how a massive airlifter can perform with agility that defies its size.
The Wisconsin Air National Guard’s KC-135 Stratotanker highlighted the mission that quietly enables nearly every fighter and bomber you see in the air. A-10 Thunderbolt II flybys, F-35A Lightning II appearances, and a rare U-2 Dragon Lady made the weekend even more unique.
Over Lake Michigan, the U.S. Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin demonstrated real search and rescue operations, while civilian and heritage performers filled the gaps with aerobatics, history, and precision parachuting.
This 31-minute episode captures the Milwaukee Air & Water Show 2025 from angles most people never see — water, ramp, and shoreline — all in one complete film.
