Here's the second in a mini-series of bass guitar lessons in our series looking at the bass lines of Graham Maby as played with Joe Jackson. Today's line is a song called Fools In Love which has a swing reggae vibe to it - similar to stuff by Elvis Costello and the Police that was being put out in the UK at the time. It's a great tune to pick up and play and is ideal for beginners due to both its simplicity and the scope you have for adding in some bass variations of your own.
