Approach and Landing at Mackay Bar, ID - ID28 - airstrip in the Idaho backcountry with my Super Stinson 108-2. ***This airstrip is private and open for public use, please contact owner prior to landing.
This is a BEAUTIFUL place off the Salmon River and the owners keep it immaculate! The breakfast was great and the atmosphere was friendly. Hazards include density altitude, and canyon / mountain weather. Please proceed with caution and make sure the weather is on your side. Also, make sure your piloting skills are top notch prior to landing.
