St. Patrick's Day alone brings the 68th Annual Detroit St. Patrick's Parade in Corktown with 80,000+ expected, the Corktown Races, the Royal Oak parade, and bar crawls across Greektown, Royal Oak, and Ann Arbor. It's one of the best weekends of the year to be in this city.

What is 313 Day in Detroit? Our unofficial holiday celebrating the area code — officially recognized by City Council in 2023. Free admission to the Detroit Historical Museum from 5-8 PM, $3.13 specials citywide at Atwater Brewery, Bon Bon Bon, and Mootz Pizzeria, and the Pistons hosting the Grizzlies that night. McDonald's is even bringing back the 313 Day Meal with a Vernors Boston Cooler. Only in Detroit.

What are the best shows in Metro Detroit this March? The Lion King opens at the Detroit Opera House for a month-long run. The Outsiders — 2024 Tony winner for Best Musical — debuts at Fisher Theatre. Comedy is stacked: Tracy Morgan, Marlon Wayans, Whitney Cummings, Kathy Griffin, the We Them Ones tour at LCA, and Michael Carbonaro at Music Hall. Concerts include Cardi B, Colter Wall, Lamb of God, Melissa Etheridge, and Orchestra Noir performing hip-hop classics with a 50-piece orchestra at the Fillmore.

Sports highlights: Pistons host the Lakers and Warriors — LeBron and Steph Curry at LCA in the same month. Red Wings are in the playoff hunt with Panthers and Bruins matchups.

Don't miss: Detroit Autorama at Huntington Place, the Marche du Nain Rouge parade in Midtown (costumes encouraged), and the Ann Arbor Film Festival.
