Rating Dutch Cities 🇳🇱

Описание: I am Dutch. In fact, I’ve been Dutch my entire life. So, who better than a local to annoy fellow locals with the ratings he gives to his beloved country’s cities? 😂

1. Rotterdam 8/10
First on the list, the greatest city in the observable universe, Rotterdam! Why you ask? Because I was born there, that’s reason enough I’d say… hahaha

Okay, I’ll be serious now. Rotterdam is (objectively) a great city. It’s the only modern city in the country, because it was bombed during ww2.

2. The Hague 7/10
The Hague or Den Haag in Dutch is a great city too and the political centre of the country. The thing I like most about it is the beach. Den Haag is also filled with history. Did you know our parlement building, the Binnenhof, is the oldest parlement building in the world that’s still in use. Only not now because it’s being renovated 😂

3. Amsterdam 5/10
Now, to all Dutchies that know the rivalry between Rotterdam and Amsterdam… this 5/10 isn’t because of that I promise 😂 Amsterdam is beautiful, historical, and worth a visit for everyone. But, it’s just not my city. Frankly, I really don’t like being there. Too busy, no one speaks Dutch, smell of weed everywhere. Just not a fan.

4. Utrecht 9/10
Utrecht is the city I would recommend to every traveler who wants to enjoy an Amsterdam like city, but without the massive crowds. Utrecht is still busy, but I find it much more enjoyable than Amsterdam.

5. Delft 10/10
And last but not least, Delft. The most romantic city in the Netherlands (from all the ones I visited so far 😂). Delft is just wonderful. For more information you should check out my video “The most romantic city in the Netherlands isn’t Amsterdam”. It’s not too far down from this one.

Agree or disagree? And what are your favourite? I haven’t been to Maastricht and Groningen btw. Im sure many Dutch people will say that those are missing.
