Описание: Great white sharks are powerful apex predators that inhabit productive temperate coastal waters, where they spend much of their time hunting seals, fish, and other marine mammals using ambush strategies and bursts of speed. Their behavior blends long periods of energy‑saving cruising with sudden high‑intensity attacks, including the famous “breach” in which they launch out of the water to capture prey. Although often portrayed as solitary, they show flexible social behavior, sometimes interacting around feeding sites and adjusting their foraging strategies based on habitat and prey availability.
