Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Seed Tincture- Step by Step Procedure (LSA Extraction from Argyreia nervosa)

This method is accessible and meant for the average at home psychonaut adventurers. With HBWR becoming more widely known this video was made in hopes of saving people the stomach ache that comes from attempting to ingest whole seeds. Please use the information in this video responsibly, HBWR seeds are unpredictable and very capable of putting you in your place if not handled properly and respected. Do the research and stay safe. REAGENTS AND MATERIALS:
-(Argyreia nervosa) Organic Hawaiian baby wood rose seeds
“Real Hawaiian seeds, not the cheap stuff from India. In recent years online prices have skyrocketed with more inferior product going around so shop wisely.”
-(high proof grain alcohol) Everclear 190 proof “is most ideal but if not available a lower proof is serviceable, just be sure it is a clean and pure grain alcohol”
-(VM&P Naptha) klean strip paint thinner “the can found at the hardware store will do the job”
-Coffee grinder
-Coffee filters
-Jar
-Oral syringes

PROCEDURE:
-Firstly count up the amount of seeds you want to use (I usually like to do 100-200 at a time)
-Pour them in a coffee grinder to grind them into a fine powder (I grind a couple seconds at a time since the movement generates heat and decomposes the desired alkaloids)
-Transfer the finely ground seed matter into a clean jar and add naptha for defating (The amount of naptha isn’t an exact science, just add enough to drown all the seed matter)
-Close jar and give it really good shake for at least 15 minutes (This process of defatting is removing lipids from the substance and skipping this step is a large contributor to the “harsh body load” some report when eating seeds whole due to toxic glycerides within the seeds)
-Prepare a cup with a coffee filter over it and pour the solution in the jar onto the filter, Store the cup in a dark, cool, and dry place until all the liquid has filtered into the cup and the seed matter left on the filter is relatively dry, left overnight should be a sufficient amount of time.
-Add the seed matter left on the filter to a plate for more surface area to dry out for at least three days, you may dispose of the naptha that filtered into the cup (Store the seed matter in a cool dark place and be sure it is completely dry before moving on to ensure all the naptha has evaporated off)
-Now add the dry seed matter into another clean jar and add the high proof grain alcohol (The amount of alcohol used depends on how concentrated you want the final product to be, with this batch of 200 seeds I used 20 ml of 190 proof measured with a large oral syringe)
-Leave the seed matter to soak in the alcohol in the jar for at least another 3 days shaking it around as often as possible and when not shaking leave in a cold dark place (Ideally you would want constant stirring over the course of three days but just remembering to shake it around a few times a day while your not doing anything is good enough, don’t forget to shake it like you mean it and put your heart into it, the rest of the time I’ll leave it in a paper bag to protect it from light and in the fridge to keep it cold.)
-When a few days has passed prepare another cup with a coffee filter and transfer the solution in the jar onto the filter (Let it filter until it stops dripping and if you want ball up the filter paper with the still wet seed matter and give it a light squeeze being careful to not bust it open.)
-The resulting liquid filtered in the cup is the final product. At this point you can collect the resulting tincture in the cup for storage and either dispose of or put seed matter back in the jar with more alcohol to try for another run (I like store the tincture in oral syringes with units in ml printed on the side and put them in a sealed tumbler cup surrounded by ice and then keep it in the freezer)
