The Ek mukhi Rudraksha is the most auspicious, divine and powerful gift of nature to mankind. It is the rarest amongst all mukhis and is the king of all Rudraksha. The Ek mukhi Rudraksha is ruled by Lord Shiva Himself, the pure consciousness or Paramshiva. This mystic bead is thus Sakshat Shiv swaroopa and blesses the wearer with abundance in all spheres of life.

The most powerful one mukhi Rudraksha comes from Java/Indonesia as the original ek mukhi Rudraksha from Nepal is rarely found. The half-moon/cashew shaped ek mukhi is not actually Rudraksha (Elaeocarpus Ganitrus) but belongs to a different species and is known as Bhadraksha which is grown in India and Sri Lanka. By this logic one mukhi has to be half elliptical/ sharp oval in shape. The One mukhi from Java is sharp oval in shape like that of an eye and is considered by Yogis as the third eye of Shiva (Shivnetra).

A few people may say that this bead takes you away from materialistic world. This is totally incorrect. How can a bead of Lord Shiva who Himself advocates family life, take you away from it?
