Описание: The GEF Mano Project, in the district of Kenema, Sierra Leone, enabled selected farmers to benefit from new agricultural techniques; respecting the distance between cocoa plants and the introduction of plantain and pineapple plants and other crops to their plantation. This approach, promoted by the GEF Mano project, met with strong support from the local populations and particularly the farmers who immediately adopted it, here Mr. Lamine Ensa of Welthungerhilfe explains.
