Описание: Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Ram Nath Thakur, moved a motion in the Rajya Sabha to elect a member to the Coconut Development Board. The Rajya Sabha accepted this motion.

As per the Coconut Development Board Act and its rules, the House will elect one Rajya Sabha member to serve on the Coconut Development Board. The election will be held in the manner decided by the Chairman.
