Things I’ve learned being self employed📸

Описание: Working for yourself teaches you a lot. Here are some of the things I’ve had to learn on this journey.

Rest is essential. The temptation to constantly hustle is always there but I never want to completely burn out. The turtle wins the race right?

Building relationships is foundational to growth. This includes relationships with other vendors as well as your clients. We’re all more powerful as a team and not to mention that it’s so much more joyful that way.

Sometimes, you need to find help. I’m so lucky to have found help in so many areas of business and life. From my partner Carson, to friends and family who work with me, and outsourcing tasks that I don’t excel at. It’s important to lean into your strengths and trust other people with their strengths.

Last but not least, trust the process and enjoy the journey. It keeps things fun and interesting. I started using motion (I’m sure you’ve heard of it) and it honestly has opened me up to trust that I’m heading in the right direction. I used to work like a chicken with my head chopped off trying to get everything done as quick as possible. Now I feel organized so I can sink a lot deeper into tasks and have faith that through consistency everyday I will achieve my goals.
