Re-uploaded to lower music; Thanks for the comments about this everyone! The police trade-In (or surplus) pistol market works very similarly to the milsurp market. That is, they come to the market in a large lot for cheap, they dry up, and then they're gone. If you see something that you like, and the price is right, you should buy it. Otherwise, it'll be gone and you'll lose you chance.
I show some of the pistols that I've purchased the last 10 years, an FN Hi-Power, a Sig Sauer P226, a Sig Sauer P229, and a H&K USP45. These pistols are likely not coming as surplus for a while and represent some of the 80s-90s pistols that were replaced in police departments.
