USC landed one of the most coveted defensive transfers in the portal when former Oklahoma State LB Mason Cobb announced that he was committed to the Trojans. USC’s defense was awful last season & it needed a big time player like Cobb, who brings something the defense has been missing. Cobb’s speed, tackling, play recognition & coverage from the linebacker position will be a sight for sore eyes for USC fans. One player won’t completely change the defense, but Mason Cobb is someone who will definitely make a difference.
