The North End Bikeway running between Leeds Street in the North End and Cogswell at the edge of Downtown Halifax has a lot of potential to make it easier for people getting around the city by bike. It suffers from a number of issues that make it barely competitive in terms of utility with just biking in open traffic on Agricola one block to the west.
In this video, I go over some of the problems the bikeway suffers from and think about some cost-effective ways to address them.
