BRITT La Bière à l’Esprit Libre - Summer IPA is a light-bodied, thirst-quenching summer IPA built around grapefruit citrus and floral hop aromatics. It’s bright and aromatic from the first sip, with a clean bitterness that stays deliberately light and refreshing.
In the glass, there’s a noticeable spicy edge that initially reads like it could be yeast-driven. But knowing the beer includes citrus peels, that spiciness makes more sense as a pithy, zesty bitterness rather than fermentation character. It adds grip and definition, giving the beer structure without pushing it into harshness.
The result is an IPA that sits somewhere between an aromatic blonde and a modern summer IPA: expressive, dry, and very drinkable, with a personality that feels shaped by balance and regional influence rather than chasing hop intensity.
